Yes I am. I have SDK version installed but I can't put Ubero running in server mode. In Ubero's page says it is quicker.

PS(sorry if my english isn't good)

I don't think there is a server mode. Maybe there was one in older version I couldn't say but in IBM's 1.4.1 java for linux there wasn't a sever mode.

I don't have that much money to through around, so I've only got one computer running all my DC projects, games, school work, etc. It's an AthlonXP2400+ @ 2155 (195x11) running XP Pro.

My CPU is pretty old. It is an Athlon XP 1700 running at 1466 (133x11).

Hm, I see that your rigs a different league to what we're running back here in Central Europe. I own 1 GHz Morgan Duron overclocked to 1.16 GHz (you don't seem to use value CPUs), though I'll be upgrading to Thoroughbred 2400+ withing two weeks.

Hey Jarous! I was just reading you post and wondered something. Can you not get the faster CPUs over there or are they just way to expensive? Welcome to the board!

Sorry for replying so long. I've been actually preparing for the CPU upgrade and ruined my BIOS. So now I am typing this on 80486SL notebook hooked on 18 kbps dial-up modem. What do you say to that  ? Fortunately, my uncle owns an EEPROM programmer so I can get the reflash pretty soon. Then it will be Athlon XP 2600+.

em99010pepe, I am (or better said, was, before I tried to flash the BIOS) running the Lifemapper.

Keith75, yes, hardware is available much later here than in the US or western Europe and usually more expensive. But not by much. It's the relative price. $500 CPU might not be that expensive for someone with annual earnings of $50,000. But here - the average annual income is about $5,000. So even if the hardware is approximately the same price it's ten times that expensive relatively.

Just like in Portugal. We live in the third world.

Jarous, do you have bandwidth limits?

Severe. I normaly (when I have a working PC) use 56 kbps dial-up. Telephone fees are a pain. But ADSL is making inroads into the country. I recon that within a year I'll get one myself.
