And do tell us a bit about yourself, and especially the specs of your machines. We love to know the specs of each others machines. And also, what is/are your favorite project(s)?

Hi...

I'm form Chile and I have an AMD CPU. My fovorite project is Folding and SOB, but I quit crunching numbers, because I need get a time out by replace my SO. (from win 98 to win XP) and RAM is too limited in SOB. Now in WWC I will add more machines.

About my machine is old, but I don't have more money...

* AMD Duron 1600 Mhz
* 384 Mb RAM DDR 233 Mhz
* 32 Mb TV-Video Card, ATI All in Wonder Pro (alias Rage 128)
* SO: Win XP and win 98 (but I use Linux in my work)
* Modem connection (I don't have moeny for broadband con.)

Well I still comunicating new advances and I will integrate to AMD Users Forums...

Hiya!

Our Team here is an International Team, so we got members from all over the globe. I think we don't have many members from Chile (if any at all), you're most welcome! I am from Portugal.

My computer is not much better than yours. I got an Athlon XP 2000 with 512Mb of RAM. But one thing is for sure, if we apply our computers on the right spots, we can get to the top. I'm currently number 1 at the Pirates@Home project for example.

If you got any questions about computers, projects, and stuff like that, don't hesitate to post. For example if you're thinking about switching projects, you can ask us here how other projects are like, how much memory they take, etc.

Come around when you can. There's always alot going on here. This month for example we've found and started crunching for some 3 or 4 new projects already.
