    Electric costs

    Hi

I was watching the Swedish news on TV and they said we will have lack of water if the summer will be normal I.E. little rain. We have waterfalls as produce EL. That means we will pay 1 Sek/kWh  (0.13 US$ and 0.07 GBP). Right now I pay 42.60 öre (under 1 Sek). This will cost more to run all computers night and day. The last 3 months I use 1.078 kWh but because we had winter here all radiators where on, bulbs shine longer than in the summer and heating element in the car and motor makes the consumption bigger. With diverse additions this cost me 1002 Sek (128.13 US$ and 74 GBP)

What are you paying per kWh?

Usage >1750 per quarter is at 12.3298 less 4% contract discount = 11.836608
Plus a not discounted Service Availability fee of 32c per day.

My last quarterly bill covering the late Spring early Summer period from 8 October to 5 January was $1,560.48 for 12,671 kWh.

Ah for living in the South of the USA... 7.5 cents per KWH.

Last month was a big month for me in terms of electrical usage as one of my highest ever. Due to the higher cost of propane (LPG) I used much more electricity for heating than I normally would. Last month I used 1,114 KWH.

In the same month last year (Feb) I used 919 KWH.

Both months include 75 KWH for outdoor lighting, which is charged at a higher rate of 8.08 cents per KWH.

In Chile, kW per hour is nearly CLP $ 200 (US$ 0.4). In May, the bill will up increase 8% for gas out in Argentina. This is a little problem, but I pay near US$ 24 in the month, including all costs.
