It's approriate if you're only using the BBC BOINCmgr with a single core on just the BBC CCE (preferably doing just one task!). Else, I would advise doing what I do and just periodically shutting BOINC down and running a SYNC update to a Windows Briefcase (obviously you can also automate this in a schedule.
