My old laptop cant run an external hard drive. At least not one powered by USB because it only has on USB port and doesn't draw enough power from that one port.
Yours may be the same...(Or you may have more than one USB port...)

I removed all the things I dont need off of it..and just use it for SIMAP and Hash clash :D
