    Quad Pumped

    Quick question: Why doesn't AMD use Quad Pumped memory??? I would think that would be easier than having to make everything run faster. Is there some down side to it? Sure seems to work well on the Intels from the benchmarks I have seen.

    I believe the XP core will need redesigned for quad pumped. I agree that it would be an awesome thing for them to pursue.

    I think there is an issue of price that AMD doesnt want to make the same mistake intel did with rambus costing so much.
