I thought that the mobile AMD's came already unlocked from the factory because of the power saving features need to be able to adjust the clock.
What the best wire to use? I was think the ideal wire would be just to break apart an old fan and use that wire since it is very fine
I made a typo, I ment to say i didnt wire trick it. Yes the mobile at 100% unlocked and overclock well.

I like the wire inside of an old IDE cable

I have heard the newer XP's are locked so there is no way to unlock them so I guess the only way to have a unlocked xp now days is to have a mobile or mp
Not ture you can mess with the bridges and turn a regular desktop into a mobile and then it will unlock the multipliers again. But all T-bred and barton cores are locked after week 39 or 03 (0339) and all thortons.
