    Website

    Hi chaps,

Just sorted my webserver out again...Works better my end now because I've changed the locations of the folders etc. I also found a great tool to help me out...
    http://www.webmin.com/

Anyhow, if you could check it out and tell me what you think.

Ignore the content, it's still being done..I was more concerned on getting the server going.

    drezha.homelinux.net

Robots.txt and Sitemap now exist. Not done one before. Do I have to resubmit a sitemap to google when I change a file?

the framework appears to be working nicely and the layout fits nicely on the screen and adjusts very well as the browser size is reduced and expanded.

I have to admit I am not a fan of white on black and it does strain when reading under artificial light. Here's some thoughts I found to consider with choice of text and background colours: http://www.writer2001.com/colwebcontrast.htm
The Notes section below the colour examples is also very interesting.

Cheers Lebo. I'm obviously trying to add to it now. Learning PHP and MySQL as I go along. In the background (which you cant see), I'm also running a Torrentflux server which is fantastic. Downloading files has never been better...I start Wget and Bittorrent downloads from anywhere now!

Never considered the contrast AMDave. Well obviously I did but I thought White on black was good myself but that article was quite good. I may hae to change the colour scheme now (not hard now I have a template HTML file...really should have used a css file but ah well)

    Choices! Choices! he he

It is great fun mucking around with code and building sites and pages with your hands. Like making a bookshelf or a table, you can feel the smoothness of the polish that you spent the time on getting it just right. Building a website from nothing can be just as rewarding and the finish is something that can be appreciated by others, and it forms an expression of yourself.

You are doing great. Looking forward to the finished work.
