What about making the processes run as Administrator? You would need to allow each BOINC exe but it might work...

oh darn, I ran into a problem... I had to make my fleet of athlon use limited accounts, becuase the kids that use them were doing an awesome job of installing everything... the problem is: I can't get boinc to run on a limited account! I can't do runas either! it is REALLY annoying! :mad:

if any of you have any tips on how to fix this, that would be AWESOME!

hmm a service install... I am going to have to play around with this ...
I have never had it before where when you go to use the right-click runas command, it doesn't work. Maybe I'll have to figure out the syntax and do it in the command prompt ... herm.

1 month on... account creation is still disabled :\

Yeah early June they are going to open up to 1500 more people for 2000 total. :D

Early in June we will have number of additional datasets (=WU types) ready. At that point we would like to open for more users to join.
We still plan to do this stepwise, the target user population will be 2000 users for the next step.

I can't wait...this is a really worthwhile project I am very keen to join...looking at the stats, for so few users the project is doing very well
