About a year ago I organized an in-team contest featuring 7 projects of different kinds that lasted almost all spring. It was the AMD Users Performance Contest - Spring 2005
The contest stats page is still online, and the winners are immortalized both on that thread and on the page.

This year I would like to try a Boinc contest, and I have some plans on it already (which I won't say as to not spoil the surprise) but I wanna see what is the public's reaction to a contest. So...

Yea... the banner was a small request I made to Vaughan (projects admin) and Empty_5oul (gfx artist) to see if we could call home the lot of members that don't usually hang around.

I'll open a new thread with all about it later today then. But to just leave you guys a hint... I was inspired by watching F1 races.

If all goes well I'm planning to start it on May 1st, 10 days from today. Hope your PC is back by then. :P

If not, then don't worry, the contest will last a while, and everyone can join while it goes. Only problem is the handicap of not having started at the same time of the others. :roll:
