I throught I'd switch projects a little early on my work computer, but I'm unable to attach Predictor. Anyone else tried and have this problem?

I tried and couldn't make it too.
I hope it's because of the scheduled backup day...

yes.
I had the same problem attaching the project to my clients (5.2.13) using the GUI.
But being a nerd , I went straight to the command line.
I stopped the GUI client and restarted it from the command line with the appropriate -attach_project <PROJECT_URL> <key> and it worked fine.
Same thing with the next client (5.2.13 also)
After they downloaded the project clients and some wu's I restarted the client s in GUI mode. No probs.

You have too many WU´s as not is done (3066 work units) and peoples are waiting for your pending WU´s to werify their work units I think it should be good you continue run Leiden to the to Friday, the last day.

You may remember many of your teammates is dependence of your work units.

I think it is imposible to get a new rank in Predictor. The gap to next team is too large. But perhaps we can reach the 1.000.000 level? Of source it will be lesser points if Mitro will skip it.

BUt of course Mitro has suggested he will return to predictor after the Championship, so losing his power now is not lost completely. I am right on this statement am I not there Mitro?

Actually no... I've changed my view on Predictor. The reason its so easy to gain ranks is because so many people are leaving it due to the fact that the project is not run very well with almost no feedback to the users. Read through the message boards and you'll see the mass dissatisfaction that has occurred. I'll go wherever the wind blows me... but it won't blow me back over to Predictor.

There's three components on (almost) all DC projects... the science, the means to achieve it, and the community.

Why must they (project coordinators) always disregard the third component... :roll:
