The two leagues idea was because people with 1 or 2 computers couldn't compete against others with arrays of them. The winners would always be the same few. So it was suggested that we tried to create an upper league for the top crunchers, and a normal league for the rest of us (like me  )
I was thinking at 1,000 credits/day as limit, but then I looked at our stats and people who actually did 1,000 per day were less than a handfull across all projects. Following a suggestion from Empty_5oul, that limit was lowered to 600. It was a value more in account for our team members.
Now back to mitro's suggestion... I'm afraid it's next to impossible, for various reasons, to track how many machines each person is using.Remember that it's not just us here in the forum that will be participating, but the lot of hundreds of people we got on our Team, and that 90% of them don't even come by often.
Oh... and by the way, sorry if I mislead you guys, but I didn't mean 600 RAC on my posts up there, I meant 600 credits per day, crunched and awarded. The RAC unfortunately can't tell me much, as it is a kind of measure that has no upper bounds.
It's still a week to go, so I'm open to suggestions. Any ideas? Keep me posted.![]()
