Preparing for the SZTAKI leg of the BOINC race
I've attached all 4 of my dual-cores to the project with no problem. Only odd thing I have going on is that one of them only has about 4 hours of work on it and will not download more. All of my computers are set up on the same "location" (in BOINC prefs) but the other 3 have the 5+ days of work I've instructed them to have.
Any problem or thoughts others are having while beginning this leg of the race, feel free to post here.

One of your 3800s has only returned one work unit. Try letting it send in a few more results and then perhaps the server will take it more seriously. It did seem to behave that way when I loaded up. Dave,

The one that has the least work on it has been running SZTAKI for days... the recently added ones are sitting on LOADS of WU's.

Yes but when I look at your results I see 312 work units loaded and only 3 results returned for computer ID 20384. Is that the one with the problem? Dave.

Can't be that one you now have over 300 WUs loaded and even your mighty machines can't crunch that in 4 hours (I hope). I guess it is the 165. Have reset your general preferences to 10 days for that machine and updated it? Dave. (reply to previous message)

It is the 165. It shows 334 WU.... 300+ of which are already finished. (and its set to "Connect to network every 5 days" as they all are)
EDIT: Fixed. Set up seperate preferences for that computer but still was the same, then put it back with the others and it started downloading work.

Like you I'm out of ideas I'm afraid. There seem to be loads of WUs in the server. The only strange thing is that the 165 is showing a download rate of 0.17 KB/s whereas all your other ones are 40 to 400 times faster, could that be limiting it? i.e. the server timing out. Dave.

I dunno what it was, but it wasn't even trying to get work. Whatever it was is gone now... I've got 2+ days of work.
-
Mitro, the server was afraid that you would hog all workunits for yourself and leave none to the rest of the participants.
