That does bring to mind a suggestion I did quite a while ago but that didn't get attention at the time...
How about having a separate forum section for Birthdays/Welcomes/Congrats/etc?
It would clear the Members Lounge quite a bit.
But on the other hand, unless you got a way to do it in batches, moving all those already created threads to another forum section one by one would be a really long task. :P
