It's a laptop. Dont even TRY.
Unless you can use liquid nitrogen injecting coolant systems![]()
And I would presume the laptop manufacturer's will have got a BIOS that will not allow overclocking. My OEM desktop system contains no overclocking options so a laptop probably wont at all ;)
In a laptop i would definatley not even try.
If you really want to get a program such as motherboard monitor or speed fan and check you current temperatures first, compare these to the maximum temperatures. I imagine they will be fairly close numbers meaning you cant overclock as it would just burn out.
It can be risky... there have been lots of problems with laptops overheating lately... like this one
