    AMD User's Not quite Supercomputer.

Well I started this over on my main forum but it didn't get as big as welcoming as I had hoped..

I thought I might add it here as well.

Basically the idea is to create an account on a DC project and add as many slow (ie 1Ghz or under machines) to it under one account.

Creates a bit of fun, gets those old machines crunching etc.

Here's the thread over at TPR
    http://forums.teamphoenixrising.net/...ad.php?t=39734

If it goes down well, I'll crunch 50% AMD User's and 50% TPR (depending on the project chosen etc) (maybe even 100% AMD User's once the TPR race has finished and maybe if the idea loses intrest. )

We're running SIMAP as it seems to have low memory requirements but I know Predictor and Rosetta and FOlding@home all run on my laptop.

    Our SIMAP profile is http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsim...p?userid=12064

Only want to put this forward as an idea and I'll make a move if we get enough people and machines together and can decide on a project etc.

    Just an idea.

Possible, did your anti-virus detect it? If it does, I'll let mine run later.

Fred I am going to PM you...I think you should create a topic somewhere else to find a solution to your problem...
