Take my turn there Beerknurd. I'll leave it for a while. I lost a workunit that was 16+ hours away because RCN doesn't support checkpointing yet. :?
They say that they won't implement checkpointing on this stage because they only have a few more thousands of workunits to go. After these are done they'll have to build a new application for the new work to crunch, and that new one might have checkpointing implemented already from the start.
