What Happens When We Run Out of Work?

Well, at least at first, nothing - I'm going to verify that all the factors returned were processed by the scripts (like they should have been), replace the software version we have running (5.13) with a 5.14 version, and create some work units. Now, depending upon when we run out of work, I will get to this sooner or later - just depends upon if I'm awake or not. Laughing

But, by tomorrow, we should be crunching again. We'll open up about 20 more accounts (double our current user numbers or so) for the Alpha phase. People who have already expressed an interest here in helping out/testing will get a PM from me with an account key.

So if anybody didn't sign up 1st round. You have another chance!

    Heads up Beerknurd.
You might still get into alpha, let alone the beta.

It looks like we are now out of work and are waiting for the new 5.14 application. dAVE.

I posted in the non-boinc forums. :D Looks like only two other people "expressed an interest" unless they sent him a pm. Hopefully I'll get in.

You should, he's allowing 20 more accounts to be created.

    New Work

Some new work has been issued but they have not yet gone alpha. They are longer work units but because the progress indicator doesn’t work yet I can’t tell how much longer. Link is here: http://www.rieselsieve.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=720
Hang in AMD-USR_JL you will soon be there. dAVE

Edit, The first one took just under 50 minutes which is about 6 times as long. Time to turn down those caches before you connect or you will get 6 times more work than you expected (if your box behaves like mine).
