Happy Easter everyone. I hope the Easter bunny brings you delicious chocolates. Enjoy and remember to drive safely on the roads.

Holidays are always a mixed good/bad thing for me. They are alot of fun and time to sit around and have fun with the family. The bad part is I always eat so much food and pie that I can't do anything but sit around. LOL Hope everyone else had a great Easter.

What's the speed limit in Australia? Here is 120 km/h.

Mostly in built-up areas its 50, some better roads are 60, 70 or 80 and country roads its 100. Rarely, 110 on dual carriageway motorways. So many different speed zones, so many radar cameras and revenue collectors pointing "hair driers" at law abiding citizens under the pretext of road safety. Such confusion makes for easy targets for the constabulary.
Given the massive distances in Australia you'd think our speed limit would be 120+ too. The only place where it is "unlimited" is the Northern Territory.

Our speed limit around here is only 113 on the dual carriage motor speed ways. Normally I would say it is 70MPH on hour highways but I was trying to fit in. I knew most of the world went to Metric but I heard something the other day that made me think the UK still wasn't.

In the UK we still use MPH, 70 on the motorways, 30 on town roads amd then anywhere in between for dual carriageways and country roads.

We are supposed to use the metric system like the European Union but for a lot of the British we still like the inches, pounds, etc

Hope everyone had a good easter break,

In Germany is also unlimited. The limit is your car. Usually this limit is 250 Km/h.
