BH they already ARE in the spare bedroom (my office).
All except one are working again. The XP2100+ that was on the UPS that kept tripping the ELCB refuses to powerup. Further investigations required.

Still have several PCs (Win XP Pro SP2) that refuse to get F@H work. I posted a question on the TPR forums asking for help.

About the F@H issue, I have a couple of laptops that just keep failing and retrying! I tried the CLI, Win and beta apps but to no avail! They both run WinXP Pro!

...gave up with them in the end!

If you find out do let me know!

    Cheers,

    BH

Strange. I don't have any problems with XP-64, W2K, NT4, although I don't have any lappy's running. I wonder if there is something related to being laptops that the client locates in it's system analysis. ???

Good observation. The two PCs that refuse(d) to connect to the FAH assignment server are indeed laptops. I managed to get the P4 2.66 to connect by following the info posted in response to by query over at TPR forums. It worked on the P4 but not the XPS T2600. The solution was to retry the -configonly flag and say Yes to Advanced options during the configuration routine. When I got to the unlimited time units question answer No.

Didn't work for the Core Duo but did for the single core. Doesn't really matter as the XPS is brilliant at BOINC Riesel Sieve.

And you should indeed keep it on the rieselsieve if it is happy there. I have 4 systems that just don't like FAH, but run everything else. So I just put them on ogr so I wasn't wasting machine time, just not worth the hassle you know??
