    speed increases

    First time doing seti got it running on the server. Using Ksetispy and client 3.08 I got 267 MFLOP/s XP1800@2001 fsb 174 and other bios setting at default then I tried some other settings by disabling bios and agp cache and switched ram setting to turbo I got 267 MFLOP/s at the daufalt cpu speed and fsb then I tried Overclocking be to the orginal setting and and up with 295 MFLOP/s

    Running the 3.03 client will gain you another 10%-15%.

    I'll have to try that out. I'm using gentoo and when I built ksetispy one of the dependcies was seti 3.08 and you can run rcupdate to get it to run when computer boots. I guess it would be a simple as replace the seti binary with 3.03 version

    I got 3.03 yesterday after noon and run it all night now I'm getting 317 Mflop/s

    I got ibm java working in a diskless enviroment and got ubero up and running :twisted:
