you can try office 2007 through your browser (it has to be IE though).

im quite impressed but not sure about the new style. The new look doesnt blow me away. I like having the same menus always displayed at the same place on the screen, and the drop-down boxes suit me fine.

One thing i did like is if you type text in word, then by moving the mouse upwards slightly you get a toolbar appear just above the text, it contains the font tools e.g. change size, colour, font type etc.

I'm just like you. Before my unfortunate HDD failure (possibly due to Vista being on the same physical HDD), I was using Office 07. I didn't mind the new GUI, but I also prefer the classic in Office 03 and before.
