The booster at that price is good though and it probably wouldn't invalidate the warranty either as you're not messing with the OEMs PSU.
That Thermaltake has no PCI-E connections tho
Find me a good psu with the connections.LOL.........I don't care about a OEM warranty.I've only got about 1year left to live my doctore say.**** a warranty.I'am the one needing warranties lol.....lol,.,.

    Ouch!

Why faff around with a little system, get yourself a mother of a crunching system and crunch for the medical science project that may be able to help you and others like you? Something like this http://www.sun.com/servers/x64/x4600/

In the mean time, and a bit more wallet friendly, you could just get this cheap but effective one...

Yeah I have!!! ...do you find that the street lights go off down your road, your Wife takes twice as long with her hair dryer and you get strange clouds forming above your house when you power them both on at the same time? ;)

Alright so I am slightly off center here, but really it is just the power on cycle that causes me to not be capable of acheiving full on so quickly. I hope you understand that just because I have that much does not mean my systems draw that much all the time. I have toned down the fan usage by disconnecting all that I can to conserve energy.

So that is why there are storm clouds out side my house every time I reboot the monsters, Thanks for the insight

Here's the extra memory you need from Walmart...

    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3884645

Edit: Walmart states just 1GB DIMM whilst HP states 2x512MB DIMMS which would fill both slots therefore you would need to order 2x1GB - best check first

The FSP X3 could easily power two of either of those cards so you'll have no problem! :D

A computer God - now there's a thought! ...let's hope he isn't running Windows and needs a reboot every few weeks!
