Computer Hangs
Here is the problem. My computer hangs. Everything freezes. Whether I'm using it or it is idle.
There are no known virus or trojans.
Nothing in the system logs, nowt on the firewall logs.
A reset will not fix the problem. Only a complete power off and restart.
It's been doing it for a few weeks. I can multiboot to another XP pro system but the issue still remains.
Is some piece and hardware slowly dying?
AMD 64 3000+, 1 giggle of memory, 2 @ 160 gig HD, 1 DVD rewriter.

CPU overheating maybe? Espically if it's overclocked. Blackheath might be right about memory though, cause i remember when i pushed my memory timings too much it caused my system to freeze up.
