I think that in our team page there should be a "Join this Team" link, or something similar. You just click on it, and click once more when asked to confirm that you wish to join the team.

By the way John... you should not write your email address on every post. I would even say you should not post your email at all on websites. Many search engines and ad bots run around every week, so the more you spread your email address out in public the more spam you get in your inbox.
