I have ABIT KV8 Pro (K8T800) as supports 2,000 MHz Hyper Transport and have uGuru tool. This tool is easy to use when over clock the CPU. I have yet not have any problems with it. Of source there are a lot of them out there. Don´t know if ABIT has motherboards for dual cores. Peoples seems to like MSI but there is also GeForce and Asus.

    Lagu,

I would bet that it is your memory causing the problem unless you know otherwise. ;)

If I were you I'd take a look at the two ASUS ones...

The ASUS Crosshair for Nvidia or the ASUS M2R32-MVP Crossfire for ATI.

Both are great boards with loads of options to tweak for overclockers.

Thanks Blackheath but no sooner than I posted that I got ab email that the 4800 has shipped. I guess it's good as I already have the board and mem for this build and I would have had to rma all that stuff. Ever use any Epox boards?

I've never used any Epox boards, would be interested in hearing how you get on with one though as I've just read up on a few and it sounds like they are great for O/C'ing

This 4800 I have is sitting on one and it is fun! It's the EP-9U1697. I just got one yesterday for the 4800 that's comming. This is the link: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813123003 I think it's the board in the book OCing for morons. lol It does make it that easy and the software is great that comes with it. I like the Thunder Probe it matches CPUZ exactally as far as the numbers go and it also gives temps. And you can reset the bios from the keyboard.

I think you are quite right. When Windows had dumped the memory and the computer had restarted I manually shouted it down. During the shout down process I got a message saying: “The memory couldn’t be read” and after that the computer shouted down.

I have Wiking memory but the datashop where I bought them has got bancrupty. I think it is liftime warranty on them.

Is there samthing wrong with my MoBo or is it bios or the memory?

It's most likely that the issue is the memory Lagu. You don't have any memory that you can swap it around just to isolate the problem for sure between memory or the motherboard?
