    Next BOINC Championship...

I am sure everyone agrees that the last BOINC Crunching Championship was great fun! It also boosted us in a many of the projects...so I was just wondering, particularly for TANPAKU and Riesel Sieve we should have another one...or are we going to wait for the new year?:icon_rr:

I was thinking the same thing but some people probably won't be home to manage their computers.

What about a November, December, January race with a weeks break from the 24th to the 2nd?

I like the idea, but those people in the southern hemisphere will be having summer where the northern hemisphere people will be having a chilly winter. Either way you can't please everyone. I like a little competition, it keeps my mind active and working on improving what I have and the future of DCing. I love this stuff, keep the idea's flowing!

I'm up for something too, but my PC's will be off for 3 weeks at xmas. Maybe a New Years race would be better, for say the month of January... start the new year off as we mean to go on

Um, how does this make us produce any more than we already are when our systems are running 24/7 now?

No, unless people take the chance to explore on overclocking their machines...
The result of a competition, or race, or team effort is a more focused production in a few selected projects, versus the usual smaller but wide spread production across the whole table of projects.

Now the question is... Where could we use a boost?
    (yea... I know...almost everywhere )
