    Dell Commercial: Featuring AMD

While watching TV today, I saw a Dell commercial that featured the AMD Athlon X2.

    Finally!

If you look on their site it'll make you sick for what they want for a tired older X2 system. And lord only knows what kind of motherboard you'll get, not to mention the useless crap they will load up on it.

They wait until after the Core 2 Intel systems come out to start offering AMDs. Now they will probably say that there isn't any demand for them since the Intel chips are faster at the moment and will stop selling them even though they sold slower overpriced Intel chips for years.

Read somewhere they lost there deal with Intel because they started non Intel products so they'll be selling whatever is cheapest. And they only started getting the AMD chips because they bought Alienware IIRC. Thats when Intel pulled out and said they had to pay normal prices.
