    k, thats kool.
if you select config and the set the priority to normal it will go up a bit - but if you do that you wont be able to do much on the computer. you can however put it on low and get a better result whilst still having a responsive computer.

Hehe.. It seems that I made a fault.. the memory was somehow running in single channel mode? I put the memory modules in the different colors thinking blue = 1st, black=2nd channel meaning Dual Channel.

but CPU-Z reported that it was running single-channel. then I tried putting them both in the blue sockets.. guess what.. CPU-Z reported DUAL channel. (never tested my bandwidth in the first place  )

    Now I get: 1018000~1019000 cEMs/sec

but still.. system is not running optimally.. I can't reach the specifications of the memory without losing stability. even at 2CMD rate. Now I am running my mem @ 333 CL2.5 CMD1.. I think I will trade the memory for something better because it just cannot reach its advertised speeds.

edit: okay.... the cEMs/sec rate keep going up: 1024000.. when does it stop?
    edit2: it found it's sweet spot @ 1032000~1033000 cEMs/sec.

k, so your pushing over 1 then which is great. If you select stop and exit then when you open it again select config beofre restarting it, then put priority to normal, svae changes and then select run/go. You may gain a tiny bit but thats all i can recommend to push it harder.
just looking for your stats you havent joined our team yet, or the stats havent updated in the team box at top right please put "AMDUsers" no spaces and capitals where shown. that just means we can look at your stats :thumbleft:

where you have said about memory have you not though of going for DDR 400, surely your mobo can take it if its 939 pin 64 bit compatable ??
accoriding to below it can take 4Gig that would be kool lol - but expensive

as well as up to 4GB of regular unbuffered DDR PC3200 memory

Yeah but somehow the memory can't.. It really gets unstable when I set DDR400 (2:1).. the memory just can't reach it's advertised speeds. That's why I am going to replace it.

setting priority to normal makes it go @ 1080000 cEM/s/sec

    yeah, soz m8

    i mis-read your sig : 2 times 512 - 3200

i saw the 3 and though it was 333 - thats why i said try 400 you would gain a bit more speed, don't worry though you already do.

where do you live m8, england ??
casue the site i normally use is microdirect it has a lot of memory on there, some good some not so good : http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Product...px?GroupID=465

i just tried CPU Z on here and under memory all i get displayed is general: size 512M, everything else is blank and grayed out ? any idea ?????

I don't seem to get it anymore.. now it seems to be running at DDR400 fine?..

somehow I had some "unexplained" application crashes. Not sure it is IEXPLORE (since it is the only one crashing here). or some memory problems.. fast check of memtest86 revealed no probs.. trying a long check with memtest86 and look whats going to happen.. :?:

weird.. memory fails @400 DDR with memtest86 3.1 @ test 5 (last 2% percent of it.)

but when I oc'ed the CPU to 2.4ghz and the memory running @440 DDR it succeeds the memtest86 3.1 test?!? :?: :?: what gives?

going to run a test with memtest86+ v1.26... look what's going to happen then..

    ------------- Final Edit --------------

Everything looks OK now.. prime95 doesn't generate an error anymore within 2 minutes.. memory is rocksolid @ DDR404 .. all my problems went away just by setting the HTT speed @ 201 instead of 200.. just one 1Mhz away from total stability it seems. Never thought running Dual Channel could cause headaches...
