Has anyone else noticed that Proteins@home has been down a lot?
mainly today and yesterday, there will be like an hour where I can't report a project, or get new work ... and the homepage times out too.

here are some errors that I am getting .... :

I've just put 3 systems (6 cores) on Proteins. We, the team, are about to lose 4th place to one guy named "Woody Woodpecker" (Team Wristshakers) - how embarrasing. He is the #1 in the world producer for Proteins with a RAC of 6200, so I suppose that is some consolation. Apparently he works for the Finnish government and is a cartoons and blues lover and possibly plays in a band (hence the "Wristshaker" monikker). I was thinking of inviting him to our team, but he seems to be settled with his team name. Here are his web sites: http://www.myspace.com/velipekka and http://www.wristshakers.com/
It will take a day or so for one of the systems to kick in as there are about 16 - 20 hours worth of PI-Segment work left on it.

From your request I put one of my systems on this project due to Tanpaku server being down!
Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.
…Pursuit is always hard, capturing is really not the focus, it’s the hunt ...

Thank you for the help Nflight.

I moved a couple of cores over this morning.

Thanks Skuzz. Unless the Team wants to stick to Proteins for the long term we won't keep ahead of the Wristshakers team. This guy simply has too much capacity, so we will be losing 4th place.
I see two options:
1) If we just stick a few units on Proteins for the long term we can eventually catch Boinc Synergy and get our placement back by passing them up.
2) We, the team, could really hit Proteins hard for a few weeks and pass them up quickly then leave a few units on to maintain our placement. I don't see this happening very soon due to needing to recover from the PI Segment effort in so many projects.
I have two units (4 cores) that I plan to leave on Proteins for the long term in any instance.
