Something odd concerning my +3800. PCAlert-4 indicates that my power supply's +12vdc is actually putting out +15.66vdc. I measured the actual output between the yellow and the black common and my multi-meter reads the output at +11.6vdc. In any case I don't like either measurement. Another indication is that all of my fans run slowly.
Does anyone have any ideas or is it time for another power supply?
Also, after my system crashed and re-booted Monday I took the cover off and noticed that the integrated ATI graphics chip on the motherboard is really warm - without any graphics applications being used. As a stop-gap I put in another fan (slow at +11.6vdc) to cool the chip directly.
