Don't know how long it was down for, but just after I posted that, it is back.
Almost all the services are offline, but uploads are working again. Phew.
A new status updateProject status
The project has currently no work (see below).
The similarity matrix of the SIMAP project is currently up to date. All workunits from the last calculation period are distributed, thanks to all users for chrunchig them.
The calculation of new simap workunits containing the novel proteins from august 2007 (simap app) and their domains (hmmer app) will start around september 1st.

Be ready it´s time for the short period of wu´s will start around september 1st but they usually starts too realeas them the day before this month 31st.

Looking at the batch moitor this lot won't last long.
I cleared the table and I had my straw at the ready, but so far I have only managed to suck up 7 wu's.
The demand is so great that the "unsent" count hasn't gone over 300 hundred yet but has hung around zero most of the time.
The wu's are still being created at this point so no surprise.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the whole lot are gone in 24 hours.

I have not seen these work units for more then a year, Welcome to my machines SIMAP WU's ~!
First here is the batchmonitor: http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsimap/batchmonitor.php
Next one machine downloaded just seven WU's like AMDave and the other I set my preferences to 10 Days, so I received a few more then 7 like 32. Although I had a lot of bad downloads and then the system tries to resend those and I must be getting duplicates or something unsure at this time...

It looks like they (simap) have a 10/wu per core limit per day...

Fudge. We'll smack into that wall shortly then.
So far I have only managed to pull down one wu per cpu at a time.
Looks like it is throttled as well.
Better re-open the other pipes.
