Coal, Gas (As in from North Sea), Nuclear,Renewable... Mainly in that order I do believe.

The landfill option is fairly rare..
Mind when I'm at home in Devon, theres a fair few renewable options about..Wind power (mainly Cornwall), tidal power (huge underwater turbine off the coast of Lynmouth), farmyard waste (burning cow sh*t to produce heat for the water..smell around the place is a bit iffy ), renewable burning (fast growing wood etc) and geothermal. Not bad for a little county
