with a price of $607.00 in quantity of 1k? I don't think so!! Better to buy a intel e6300 c2d @ $193.00 or less, and easily oc to 3.5 mhz and then run benchmark circles around this puppy at a cooler temp, and produce more boinc wu's. AMD has lost the bubble for the time being.
Dont worry though, life is a circle, it all comes around. I still have hope for AMD. They have provided us with great technology in the past which gave us edges over the competition(Intel). Competition is good for us in the long run. They just have to stay in business long enough for the research dollars already spent, to be put into a useable economical approach which give us that great product again.
