I am looking to build a new system and was just wondering how the 65 watt processors overclock. I was looking at the x2 3800. It is selling for cheap at newegg.

Bender would be the person to ask he's playing with a new 65w 4800 now.

I am totally against political jokes....I've seem to many of them elected!!
65W isn't the lowest is it?
Ah well...C2D for me then it looks like...C2D draw 35W if my mind serves me correctly.
You can find the x2 4200 for the same price if you look. I haven't oc'ed my new x2's yet.
I can't find it now, but someone tried (from here i think) and the gain was not that much, 10% maybe. (for Pi)
Logic is the art of being wrong with confidence.
I took my X2 4800 up to 3.14 and it only got a Pi slice down to 25:50 I just don't see it being worth the wear and tear. So I run it at about 2.6 and get 27:40. I have no idea on the 65 watt.

I might donkey with the oc on these after Pi (no smoking during werking hours). It might be interesting.
Right now I ran the x2 4800 (65w) up to 2670 from 2485 with not much of a time reduction, temp 30 C (no temp increase). Maybe a little more tommorow.
*One run change goes from 28.25 to 27.15, not bad (P1 side).
**Next morning found a run at 27.50 (P1 side). Looks to oc the same as 89w, maybe.
