Question New to DC and Team

    Hi,

I was sitting around looking at all my EXTRA computers the other day, Wondering what to do with them. I can't throw them away. And I may need a spare if I let the magic smoke out of one by mistake.

Then I found a link to BOINC.

Anyway (this is a long story), how do I link my stats to the AMDusers Team?

    Welcome to the team!

Long story - short. Each of the projects you join will have a link to 'My Account'. On that site, you should find a Community Section with a Team listed. If it still says Join a Team, click the link and then do a search for AMD. Join the AMDUsers team, and your stats on the AMDUsers site http://stats.amdusers.com/amd_users_position.html will show up when the stats are updated tomorrow ...

    Ok,
Thanks meshmar. I am still feeling my way around. I'm only doing werk for 1 project (nanohive). I have 2 machines on that (one AMD and an Intel), and will add 1 or 2 projects later.

    I actually have 7 (working 1Ghz+) computers I could put on-line...someday

I have been building my own computers for about 4 years. I am using AMD cpu's and ASUS Mb's. No problems so far. Mostly Crucial or Corsair ram. I've learned to like cases with 120mm fans, the sound of silence...

My latest build is an AMD 3800+ on a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe (For gaming of course).

Welcome to the party Bender10. The 3800+ is a pretty good processor. I'm using one now.

    Welcome to AMD Users!

I have heard the 3800+ can scream if you want it to!

We appreciate talkative new members tell us more about your style of building systems, we too like to dabble in the realm of making new friends and learning from each other.
