Leiden Classical server is down, database can not be reached.
Guess FreeHAL will be my next 500k project now...
Nice going there Dirk, Well Done!![]()
Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.
…Pursuit is always hard, capturing is really not the focus, it’s the hunt ...
Treble one today: After having achieved a #1 position in my adopted country, the British Virgin Islands (no big deal) and a dito position in the team (took hardly more effort) I finally made it to the #1 position in the sign-up-date statistics (took me all the time from 12 July 2009...). Presently I am world's #122, so there is still work to do...
600k today!
Bagged that, #120 position world-wide, now for the #110, which I will reach when I've achieved 700k I guess.
700k today!
Slightly ahead of schedule, as I am #108 at the moment.
Next milestone will be the 750k mark.
800k today!
And guess what? I've dropped to 111th place! Life's hard at the top....
@Dirk - what is the technique required to get work to crunch at Leiden. I have a Q6600 waiting, set to get work, 9 day cache and BOINC Manager says - Schedule request completed got 0 new tasks.
Hi Vaughan,
This should work:
- Check server status to look whether work is available. At the moment: Yes, plenty
- Set all other CPU projects to 'no new tasks' and wait till cache is dry.
- Set Leiden to 100%.
- Update Leiden in the BOINC client of your Q6600.
- When cache is filled, re-enable the other projects as soon as needed.
