i've started running pisegment on my dads laptop as well. how crappy is that core duo!

Play around with other projects and you'll see that isn't the case. F@H, my Core Duo laptop is just under double the output of my A64 3500+.
The second core really makes a difference on that.

i know, when i still ran boinc it beat the hell out of my athlon, but now its wuss, really. i was kinda surprised to see it could only do that amount

Just be careful I fried a 5 month old laptop on this. Of course it was oc'd. And just saying"Core 2 Duo" is like saying Intel what speed? I'm sure there are big differences in how much was paid for the laptop no matter AMD or Intel
