Team Catching up Update

I'm missing D2OL as well...Although, I might take a look at TSC when I'm done here...

I´m running D20L on my Compaq Presario as only have 1001 MHz and 640 MB RAM and not support SSE or SSE2 as does it impossible run PI. This computer is dedicted to D20L and my old Intel to MoneyBee

What we are going to end up with is everybody losing out on the other Projects just to try & save this 1. I know I'm losing 13,000-15,000 Credits a day in the BOINC Projects, I'll probably lose 1'st place @ the Nano Project some time tomorrow or the next day @ the latest & I could lose 2'nd place even if I stay here.

Then you run into the Question if the other Team is Hording to later dump on us or somebody just Joins their Team out of the Blue with a lot of Credits, it will be all for nothing then if that happens ...

I'm starting to miss my BOINC projects as well. Sure i'm not in the same position as PoorBoy (since i only have 3 computers) but i enjoy the diversity in the BOINC projects.

I tend not to run non-BOINC projects anymore because they don't enable you to run multiple WU's for different projects.

I think this team needs make a decision, how long are we willing to sacrifice other projects in the name of keeping #1 place in Pi Segment (one project). We have already lost (or have we regained?) our place in Tanpaku and further projects will soon be at risk. I don't like the idea of giving in but i'm thinking more of the wider picture here.

Pi Segment server regularly go down? Doesn't seem like a lot of effort is put into this project by the developers... I've reached max upload retry's on all my computers.

it's a two part system

you buy workunits for 100 credits
then when you return a WU you get 300 credits

start with 2000 credits and max at 20000
this is to prevent people from taking monster caches of work from the project

for every WU return your score goes up 1

when the client started, it load the cache with 5 WU's, so 4 boxes will drain your credits right of way

it takes a day or two to get constant flow of work
