    X2 3800+

This thing has my attention. I spent $180 on a MB and processer and this little thing is chewing up 83 slices of Pi a day. Tossed it into an old box I had with the stock cooler from one of my 4800's and a stick of 1 Gb $70 Ram, whatever HD was in the box, and an old cd drive and this thing came up with the windows that was on the drive. I just went through and deleted almost everything on the Add/Delete program list and turned the little Pi eater lose. Considering it's less than I paid for most of my X2 chips alone I'm thrilled with it.

    Two 4200+'s @ 939 Pin

I have two machines one is basically nothing but a server, it runs PI and Dimes, it is just a wee bit OC'd to 2.378 Ghz ! This server cranks out 96 Wu's a day, the other one to which I am typing on and use for all my personal stuff is running stock and still cranks out 87 a day. I like it...

Nice going with the 3800. I like recycling! I bought a HD for my last gamer (sata 300), but for everything else I've been working from a pile of 'used' drives. I still have 6 or so left.

I just built a x2 4200 using a 4 gig HD. I think there is about 1 gig of space left on the drive for swap file. It does not thrash, but there is no room to patch the os (this one may be upgraded when I 'inherit' a new 'used' drive.

I am going to have to talk to you about spending so much on a 'crunching' motherboard......

I really like the x2 4200's. they run cool and roll out the results. The price has come down in the last week. But after building a x2 4800 (@ 100 wu on pi), I might change to these...slowly.
