Cool if they like being "fried" we want to do everything humanly possible to help them on toward bliss.

I put one system on here so I may reach 200,000 points will probably switch over the other system tomorrow I wanted to finish up a work unit or two in Grid.org before I move full blast on Tanpaku.

I am going to see if we can get hourly updates on Free-DC Stats since I know the boss now ! This would make the competition pretty easy to spot over the course of a day and stats are a keen way to see just how much more power we need to catch and pass those ahead of us. Unless you prefer I don't pursue this idea?

I remember to points being different here, but this is weird. I'll have a better idea how this is going when I check my RAC tommorow.

Seems Tanpaku Project leaders only update there xml files once a day so the Free DC stats updating each hour won't work without some cooperation from the Men and women in charge. Anybody have direct contact with the project leaders care to make this suggestion. If you get them to add hourly updates then the Free DC Stats will automatically pick up the change!

Now all we need is someone to make contact so this may happen....?

I know. I got spoiled with the hourly update! I wanna know NOW! lol I think he cut the points in half from what they used to be. I was looking over some of my past logs and it's just about 1/2. But then I have more power by more than twice so I'll be happy. My best day in Tanpaku was 19,000. Most days I ran around 12,500 so I'll be happy with 10,000 a day once I get these other 3 machines working. (the 2 RMA boards and my laptop back from the shop)

I'll e-mail Ando. I think it'll depend on his server and how much power he has left.

    Hi,

Long time since I last sent you an e-mail. I am back running in Tanpaku. I have brought some friends with me as our team was pushed out of first place. I think I can get a significant amount of computing power to focus on your project if I can get you to update the xml files for the stats more often. The Free DC server will automaticaly pick up on any increase. We were just involved in a race with another team in the Pi Segment project and I would like to stir something up like that here, I'm afraid that we all got spoiled in the the Pi Segment project which updates the xml files hourly and it just made for a great deal of competition. To give you an idea of the type of power I'm talking about on that project each wu"s is the same and runs for about 30 minutes on an AMD 4800+, each wu = 1 point. Between the two teams we were generating something like 20,000 wu's every 24 hours, or 10,000 hours of CPU time everyday. I'm fairly certain that if I can get you to increase the frequency ot the stats updates that I can get a race started on your project.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply,

    Terry Bond

    Good Morning Terry,
Glad to hear you have the new parts in.

Something (anything) other than a daily update would be great. I thought my sig was broke when it's did not show updates for this.

I did a little math (then took 2 asprin) and my RAC should be up to 3000 by friday (if the rate of gain is linear).

It looks like there is no RAC decay here, makes it hard to see who's playing.

It decays very slowly till they run a wu then the bottom drops out. To see who's playiing this might help but it's a day behind:
