    Glad Påsk

    Happy Easter to all members!

Today we have Maundy Thursday when children dressed up as a Easter witch walking from door to door asking for sweets and fruits and sometimes they can gets 1 or 2 Swedish Crowns. They have coloured their faces so their checks is red with black or brown dots.

Lagu that sounds like a delightful tradition. I plan on taking up residence on the couch and enjoying my days off. Opps I have everyday off. Oh well I'll fake it. A very Happy Bunny Day to all!!

Not sure what dinner table you are sitting at but at MY table we are starting off with a shot of brandy for the toast and eating for an appetizer Oseledets with Kanapky (pickled herring and pumpernickel bread), Borscht (beet soup), Pyrohy with Smetana (perogies and sour cream), Holubtsi (cabbage rolls), Kapusta and Kovbasa (sauerkraut and sausage), and for dessert Chrustyky (deep fried puffed pastry) and Cheesecake topped with fresh fruit.

Since it is the first time in nearly a decade that Ukrainian (my heritage) Easter falls on the same day as English Easter I thought I would make a traditional Easter dinner.

So my time in pretty much taken up in the kitchen while someone I know goes golfing

That's ok, at least he is out of my way for awhile.......

    HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Så du hade inte upptäckt att jag är från Sundsvall? Vi är 3 svenskar som har anslutit oss till AMDusers. Vi har Björn Johansson från Bohuslän. Det skulle vara bra med flera landsmän.
