    Unique Twin Prime Search

    Woo Hoo!

    One of my crunchers has just found a unique twin prime;

    4201678401*2^333333-1
    4152169959*2^333333-1

    Added the entry in to the Top 5000 list as stated by Rytis's email to me!

    Now how do I explain those numbers to my Wife so she'll crack open the bubbly???

    Once you submit it under your user name, how long does it take to show up???

    ---EDIT---

    It says it may take up to an hour to verify....

    Congrats all of you. I wish I had a twin or some other prime with my just under 2000 WUs crunched.

    On my profile @ PrimeGrid it says I have found 4 Primes. Only 1 was big enough to make the top 5000. At least I got my name published in the history book!!!!

    FYI...those are single primes. A twin would have looked like this:

    4201678401*2^333333-1
    4201678401*2^333333+1

    The primes you found are still a pretty good accomplishment. Congratulations!

    If you had found a twin prime, then the search at n=333,333 would have been concluded and the search at n=500,000 would have begun. Also, you would have been listed in the Primes Database as the founder of the largest twin prime! Now that deserves opening the bubbly!!!

    Good luck on future finds.

    More than likely you were the original finder of 1 prime and the double checker to 3 others.

    So you are just a double checker if you don't get an e-mail, but you do get listed in the top prime finders? It says i have found 5, but i haven't gotten an e-mail.
