    Not recommended, Veg Oil separates when heated and becomes like a huge block of fat over time.

    It was good to read about though (i remember reading about it last year)

    I read all 11 pages of the article. I think it would be neat to have that as a backup. Way cool idea, and what a lesson in learning about all the obstacles they had to go through to resolve the issues that sprung up there nasty little head of frustrations. Again Way Cool...

    I think it is a good idea. What could be better.

    'Crunching' away on projects, and 'Crunching' on some French Fries (or better yeti, FRIED BATTERED SHRIMP, yum) at the same time!!!

    I have seen one where the heatsink was former of pennies and they cooked eggs in a aluiminium foil tray resting on the pennies.

    otherwise...wow..quite cool.
