I'm still sad to see a good project like WCG removed from the race. Its still possible for everyone to run the Project at 100%. If its in the race next year I may try and join you guys. I believe the reason they set it to 60% is for partners at universities and big corporations that sign on. I believe it was to reduce heat issues and performance issues in some machines. Its better to have 100 or 1000 machines at 60% then 0 machines.

I suggest we move some puters to wcg after the race though. Its always nice to be ahead of the DPC I think (especially cause my mate is very eager to rub it in)

what's the split going to be on PI Segement between pharmers and regulars

I'm trying to decide how best to keep up my non Bionc score up while throw points on Spinhenge

I didn´t run PI because I have run it so intensively before. I have 4 cores on Spoinhenge and one on MoneyBee as am is used. PI dont support 3Dnow as my Athlon 1001 has. It has not SSE why I run Spinhenge on it instead even of a wu takes circa 2 hours.

I have compared my Intel CD2 and Athlon 64 3200+ and the winner is Athlon as run a WU at +41 and Intel at + 43 but Intel finiched 2 WU`s instead.

I'm setting it at 80 points/day. I'll post a new race thread in a little while. Stay tuned.

p.s. - That will just be the bare minimum for the upper league. I'm looking at the stats and some people crunch hundreds per day.

The Pi Segment race will have to be postponed for a later time because of the downtime the project is having. Nearly 30 hours down already and no sign of getting better.

Initial idea is to re-do the pi segment race after the 5th race is finished, as to not alter the calendar. If Pi Segment doesn't get better until then, I'll have to look into alternatives.
