    Ok so.

The population today according to http://www.census.gov/population/www/popclockus.html is 301,886,610.

The population of Sweden according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden is estimated at 9,127,058

    Using the numbers you provided:

9.02% of the US population have returned results for WCG
6.00% of the Swedish population have returned results for WCG

That being said, you could argue that Swede's prefer projects other than WCG due to the language barrier.

I'm actually from the UK, but living in the USA so my profile is set to USA.

Does it give numbers for 'other' / 'international'?

Today at least 2 million Swedes talk and write perfect English. There is not any language barrier due to bad English. We Swedes begin learn English from 3 class (9year) and continue do so long we are in the school (al least 16-18 year old).

Why they shoose WCG I don´t know. It is a project as gives many points. Nearly all projects is on English. So long I haven´t found a Swedish project. It isn´t common here. They use large Superdators instead. Many research institute chare the costs of a Superdator instead for pay one oneself.

And when you register on Wcg you can choose your country but i think you already knew that.

    http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/st...countryCode=SE

Personally, I think anyone who contributes reflects well on their country, and their team if they have one. What is important here is the good work that's being done. Where those contributors come from is of lesser interest to me.

If you have the ability to contribute, then do so - as your conscience dictates. As for my native country, the USA; where much is given much should be expected.
