Where do you buy your PC parts?

Because I live in Portugal, and alot of stuff takes 6 to 12 months to be distributed here (or sometimes it never reaches the country, AMD Opterons are one example) I have to order from the closest places around me, UK and Spain mostly.
Another problem is that most online stores don't ship abroad, so that makes it even more difficult to get parts to be shipped to Portugal.

I can confirm what NeoGen say. I tried buy a AMD Athlon 4200+ from UK but they don´t shipped it to Sweden. It was Strongbow as should help me. Their price was equal to what I should buy for a 3800+ here. My Rextron Nova View KVM Universial Slim USB-PS2 Switch have I got thanks to Vaughan. He bought it out in Australia and shipped it to Sundsvall. This KVM was over 1000 SEK cheaper than Komplett. I guess I´m alone among all members outside Australia as have a part from that country.

You guys as live in USA alvays comes to a serve up table and can shose among the latest parts. Here they can sell AMD Semprons long after they are out of bussiness.

NeoGen, Komplett can be found in other contries than Sweden. Komplett is a Norwegian internet chop with a turnover of 2 milliard/bilions SEK krowns.

From the UK, I use www.ebuyer.co.uk for nearly everything.

www.leadsdirect.biz is good for cables and gender changing (keep it clean you lot ).

www.pcnextday.co.uk is good for systems.

I use www.cclonline.com mostly when I can because they have a fantastic service and they're local to me. They offer a collect at counter service as well.

eBuyer is another one I've used in the past as they seem to buy huge quantities in bulk and thus sell cheap. Novatech is also nice. Very nice delivery from them.

I used overclockers.co.uk for my last HTPC stuff and they were good, probably use them again without considering looking elsewhere as they have a great selection of kit and thier forums are very active - even though no one has answered my last post there .

I haven't bought any parts lately, but I use a local computer store called A-Power. It's a small store, but it sells hardware far cheaper than Best Buy and Future Shop.

Thats why I use CCL. Fantastic service, nice staff (when I've met them at the counter) etc mean it's my first port of call to buy. I'm don't mind paying a couple of pounds extra either. (But not to many pounds! )

Mine are all hand built with Tender Loving Care ... I buy the Parts, slap them together, Overclock the bejeezus out of them and let um rip up the Projects ... I figure their Overclocked enough when the CPU Heat Sink starts glowing Cherry Red ...

In the US, I use Newegg, Geeks and Tigerdirect. They all have good service! Just a question for fun, what was Newegg's name before it became Newegg? Any takers?

Egghead was Egghead Software orginally then Egghead Direct, then Newegg! I have been using them since the 80's :D
