Yes it is. But the problem is that you have to wait until they require your type of internet connection see here
    which they change every month.

    Beerknurd,
Yes I use it occasionally. I get paid about $5 USD per month. It consumes ALL you CPU cycles when it runs - I don't know how it does it but even if set to IDLE it'll take over your PC occasionally. It might run for about 1 minute per 15 minutes; the rest of the time it just sits there counting down the seconds. When it connects it has the capacity to consume VAST amounts of bandwidth. As an example, I have a 12GB download limit per calndar month from my cable internet provider. On the 1st August I set 10 PCs to run Porivo / Gomez. 12 hours later the thing had consumed 1.5 GB of my d/l limit so I terminated it ASAP. If I have any spare bandwidth by the end of August I'll run it again just so as I don't let Optusnet get away with my GBs.

It is legit. I have ran it on and off for many years. Don't expect much from them....I have ran for about 4,000,000 mins and have made about $200USD. More of a fun thing....they keep stats you know!!!! I'm 105 in the world for online time.
