    Portugal1 is gaining on us

Hi there team mates. Just thought I'd warn you that team Portugal1 is closing in on us. I need a hand on this project. It is very easy to run and doesn't tax the system much.

Do you want to try Chessbrain for a few days? It is possible to run multiple instances in one machine. Right now i'm using 7 instances in my 1,1Ghz/256MB.

    Team Stats

    1º - Create new account

    http://www.chessbrain.net/member/new_account.php

    2º - Download client

    http://www.chessbrain.net/downloads.html

3º - Install client and registration

Find the PeerNode client. That's the program with the icon shown on the right. Activate the program by clicking on the icon or program title bar.

Next, go to the program File menu and select the Register menu item (as shown on the right).

The registration dialog is used to register your client program.

If you have already registered at: http://www.chessbrain.net/member then you may simply enter your registered email address and press the Submit button. Make sure to do this inside of the program on a dialog box that looks like the one shown on the right!

    4º - Multiple instances

First delete or move your chessbrain agent from start menu. Then go to your chessbrain folder installation and create a shortcut to cbpncli.exe. Add in the command line or target line the following command:

    "C:\Program Files\ChessBrain DeskTop\cbpncli.exe" 0,

0 means that will run invisible but visible in task menu.

One shortcut means one instance. In my case i have 7 shortcuts to cbpncli.exe.
If you have 1024MB you can run up to 20 or more instances.

How much RAM does it use? It has been some time since I ran it, has there been a new client release at all? If I remember correctly I think 512mb was adequate for a dozen clients, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise I'll have to find out the hard way, which is not fun with multiple machines.

I think 4MB/instance. In your case you could try running 10 instances.
