How much CPU percentage does it use?
It says it uses BOINC, is it compatible with BOINC is already installed?

I don't know, but don't think so... they also require VMPlayer installed on the machine... I think the applications have to run inside a virtual machine.

That's right and beware as VMware Player is a 145 MB download not dial-up friendly

downloading right now maybe this will off-set the power costs?
... there needs to be a way to have teams though ...
If you can't make it ... Don't come!

Already joined, do you suppose this will be safe to run on my main BOINC? Apparently the owner won't be able to check the source code of the applications that they are given by people paying to use the service.

I think that's what the VMPlayer thing is about.

    What would you do?

Bloody annoying. I dont use VMplayer for my VM's yet it wont let me use Virtual box.

And TBH, getting paid £0.15 an hour isn't great. Not what I fancy doing. Especially as I used to crunch Gomez Peer. That was a scam and you never got any money paid. I think I'll stick with projects I know I want to run.

Though I do like the idea of running BOINC through VM. It's easier on linux though to run as a different user :p

    From their FAQ:

Gridfinity will only be active when you are not using the computer! It sounds bad if any use his fastets computer for private work. Boinc allow peoples use their computer at the same time as they use it for private use.

WMvare what is that? Can anyone explain for me thanks

And is peoples outside the USA qualifed run it. How is their pay system? Paypal?

I loaded this on a machine over the weekend, just to see if it was real. It certainly attaches, but got no work.. However it went rampant with my default boinc settings... I think, so I would check those out if you do attach. I, personally, severely doubt the project, but who knows..sounds way too much like Ubero to me. Bok
